A JOB SEARCH IS STILL NO EASY TASK, BUT INSTEAD STRESSFUL
THE VALUE OF AN EFFECTIVE & PROFESSIONAL JOB SEARCH PROGRAM
A job search has become more and more competitive and stressful as time has passed. If your parents lost a job, they needed a good resume and to learn how to handle an interview, but now it involves MUCH more.
Compass Career Management Solutions has been experts in this area (Job Search Programs and Outplacement Services) for over 27 years. A professional job search requires for the candidate to be well organized, thorough in the process, and open to learn effective strategies and communication skills. Our purpose is to put you in the “driver’s seat” of your job search, using coaching and training skills. For those who fail to understand the weight of our knowledge, I encourage you keep an open mind and be willing to be educated on this detailed process.
To begin, a person may think they know themselves well, but this initial step is based on how honest you are with yourself. Typically, when working with a job search candidate, there are specific areas to explore. Each group of question plays a part in the development of an effective resume.
For those who try to rush through these categories, the old saying applies here: “you will get out of the process what you put into it.” A Job Search involves much research. There is also a lot of importance to networking and mutual respect.
The more you “listen” to your coach and understand the instructions, as well as be aware of your competencies and weaknesses, the more you benefit from this experience. Don’t become “over-confident” – especially with interviewing skills.
Remember to listen intently, research thoroughly, and resist being over-confident. Once you understand the true value to Career Transition Coaching, you are welcome to email Robyn Crigger at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 704-849-2500. NOTE: We are NOT a placement service, though as a client, we can share your resume with some of our contacts in the area.
