The hiring process is a very old routine that companies and organizations tackled and used for centuries, and yet some of the original process is still being used.  Today we have one of the most diverse workforces in history, which is an asset and a challenge. The economy has made some improvements, though there are still many uncertainties.

Employers today speak of poor employee engagement, a difficulty finding people with the needed skills, issues involving poor communication, some industries have low retention, as well as a large number of employees who are expected to retire in the near future with few qualified replacements.  So what are ways to improve the hiring process in order to address these issues?
