Today we have one of the most diverse workforces in history, which is an asset and a challenge. The economy has made some improvements, though there are still many uncertainties.

Employers today speak of poor employee engagement, a difficulty finding people with the needed skills, issues involving poor communication, some industries have low retention, as well as a large number of employees who are expected to retire in the near future with few qualified replacements.
